Welcome to the British Classic Cars RANT page.
The reason for this page is my experiences in driving on a daily basis on British Roads. Now, I don't pretend to be the best driver in the world, but I do try to keep my passengers comfortable in so much as they don't press the "imaginary" brake pedal etc. I do try to let fellow drivers know what my intentions are when coming up to a roundabout or junction.
For example:
Driving down to the town to do Christmas shopping yesterday, I approached a roundabout, where I indicated to the world that I was turning right... I.E. Indicate to the right on approach to the roundabout before I braked.. - Mirror, Signal then manoeuvre ! A Transit van, not all white funnily enough, approached the roundabout without indicating his intention. It looked as he was going to drive straight on, but no... He nearly took my side out as he was actually turning right... how the F*#k was I to know where he was going?
What really p*$$#S me off is that people pay very good money for their cars... and they forget to ask the dealers to ensure that the vehicle has indicators !!!!
